We provide NEW teddy bears for
children with life threatening
illnesses. They are then delivered to
area hospitals and given to the
children. to hold when they are
scared or lonely since their families
and friends can not be with them
twenty four hours a day. We are
always in need of bears as our
demand is always greater than our
supply.
All our bears need to be NEW due to
the fact that these children many
have weakened or no immune system
as a result of treatment or the illness
itself.
All our bears are tagged identifying
them as a Joe Joe Bear by attaching a
special tag.
The Joe Joe Bear Foundation was
created in memory of a brave young
man named Joe, who lost his battle
with cancer in 2009. Joe wanted his
life to count for something and he
wanted to do great things. He was
very caring and giving and even in
pain he seemed to always have a huge
smile. he continued to be brave even
when he felt fear or was hurting.
