From The 2011 Christmas Charity Party
2011 Christmas Charity Party was a huge succcess. SPJST lodge 162 in Cypress was the location for the venue( for rental information contact 281-373-9482). The event was designed for a stress f
ree evening of celebration for the family and recognition to our Christian individuals and organizations who showed their Christian values throughout the year in the work they have 
done. Young and old alike all had a great time. The evening included an Italian dinner catered by Achille Italian Cafe(281-558-0615). 192 individuals and families enjoyed an evening of entertainment and celebration. Several youth got to show off their ta
lents and Captain Armando was a big hit. The evening also brought over $1100 to the Joe Joe Bear Foundati
on, which gives teddy bears to children with life threatening illnesses for stress relief and comfort (www.joejoebear.org). I want to thank everyone who participated in the event and helped make the event a success.
